These terms govern your use of the Import To Planner hosted service operated by MHCG LTD (we, us). They also apply when you use this public documentation site in connection with that hosted service.
You agree to these terms when you sign in to the hosted application. If you use this documentation site in connection with the hosted service, your use is also subject to these terms.
If you operate a self-hosted deployment, your organisation is responsible for that environment; these hosted-service terms do not replace your internal policies or licence terms for the software you run. See Self-hosted.
Service description
Import To Planner helps you import task lists from CSV files into Microsoft Planner using your Microsoft 365 work or school account. The service runs imports only after you review a preview and confirm execution.
Eligibility
You must use a supported work or school Microsoft account and be authorised to use Import To Planner under your organisation’s policies. You must comply with applicable law.
Your responsibilities
You must:
- Ensure you have permission to create or update tasks in the destination plan.
- Provide CSV content you are entitled to import.
- Keep your account credentials secure.
- Review import previews and verify results after execution.
You must not misuse the service, upload malicious content, interfere with service operation, attempt to bypass security controls, or use the service in ways that violate applicable law or your organisation’s policies.
Microsoft 365 dependency
The hosted service depends on Microsoft 365, Microsoft Planner, and Microsoft Graph. We are not responsible for Microsoft outages, API or licensing changes, or restrictions imposed by Microsoft or your tenant administrator.
Data and Microsoft 365
The service accesses Microsoft Planner and related Microsoft 365 data only as needed to perform imports you request. We do not sell your Microsoft 365 content. See Privacy and security for retention and processing details.
Import accuracy
Imports are automated. Field mapping, Planner behaviour, and tenant settings can affect outcomes. You are responsible for verifying imported tasks, assignments, labels, priorities, and dates meet your expectations.
Intellectual property
The hosted service, branding, public documentation, and related materials remain the property of MHCG LTD or its licensors. These terms do not grant you ownership of our intellectual property.
Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may update the service, documentation, or these terms. Material changes will be reflected on this page; we update the Last updated date at the top of this page when terms change materially. Continued use of the hosted service or this documentation site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms where permitted by law.
Fees and commercial features
The hosted service may be offered without charge during early releases. Where paid subscriptions or commercial access controls apply, fees and billing terms will be described on Credits and billing and in the application when those features are available publicly. We may change pricing with reasonable notice when commercial features ship.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the hosted service if you breach these terms, if payment is overdue where fees apply, if we reasonably believe your use poses a security or abuse risk, or where we are required to do so by law.
Liability
The service is provided on an as is and as available basis to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer protection rules in your jurisdiction require otherwise.
